Last week, we enjoyed a rare week both working at home with no travel.
While catching up on email, onto my inbox popped of those “suggestive” emails from Amazon.
Amazon seems to have a magical ability to recommend things at the exact moment that you might need them (or at least be open to reviewing the suggestions as a way of procrastinating on the task at hand.)
In this case, the email suggested K-Cups for our Keurig Coffee Brewer just after I had grabbed a cup of coffee and noticed that our supply of K-Cups was low.
A few clicks and I’d ordered our regular Jet Fuel and Black Tiger. Yes, we like strong coffee.
Then I discovered Crazy Cups Travel The World Sampler, containing 35 K-Cups, featuring different coffees from around the world.
Ah, a few more clicks and the package is on its way.
Surprise, the two-day Prime Shipping turned into one day, and we had a box of K-Cups with the big decision as to which to sample first.
Here were my first three choices:
We are heading to the Caribbean soon and I can’t wait. This coffee’s terrific aroma transported me there as I sipped.
I thought this as a coffee sampler, but didn’t mind getting this tea, one of my favorites. I imagine lions and tigers as I drink it.
Sorrento Instantly, memories of excellent espressos come rushing to mind, from Venice to Bolzano to Rome to Taormina. This K-Cup doesn’t even come close to the real thing, but it did transport my mind to happy memories.
