My birthday has always fallen right in the middle of spring break. For my “sweet sixteen”, my family went on a cruise to Mexico. Not only was I turning 16, but my sister was celebrating her final spring break in high school. It was my first cruise, and best birthday I’ve ever had.
We went on a Carnival Conquest cruise ship. I had never been on a cruise before, so the ship seemed massive!
I went on the cruise with two friends I’ve had since kindergarten, Kendra on the left and Maryann on the right. We had a blast together.
We all ate WAY too much food–there was food available constantly!

The chance to capture great photos always presented itself. The water was so clear and beautiful.
My 16th birthday isn’t one I will soon forget!
