We recently visited Singapore and spent five nights at the Conrad Centennial Singapore hotel. The trip was to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary and the stay in Singapore preceded a cruise on the Seabourn Sojourn.
Our stay at the Conrad Singapore got off to a great start at the airport. We arranged a car service pick-up through the hotel, and after three long flights, it was terrific to find our driver waiting for us just outside of the baggage claim/customs area. Quickly we were off to the hotel.
Within about 20 minutes we were pulling up at the hotel which is located in the Suntec City Convention Center and Shopping Complex.
As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a gentleman who took us directly to our room on the 28th floor. He quickly handled the check-in details in our room, and our bags arrived shortly.
There were several nice surprises in the room to recognize our anniversary, starting with the wedding bears.
The large, comfortable bed dominates the room, with nice bedside lighting.
There’s an efficient desk for business and a flat-screen television.
The room features a full side of windows and a side window that looks out towards the Singapore Flyer.
This is the daytime main view from the windows. The view is of a stadium that is still under construction.
The bathroom is nearly as big as the main room, with both a deep tub and a glass shower. (It requires a panorama photo to give a sense of the size.)
Nice little touches: a loofah, bath salts and a rubber ducky.
We love the Conrad toiletries.
The desk held more anniversary surprises: a bottle of wine and a delicious chocolate cake.
The artfully-arranged fruit and chocolates were another nice touch.
Built in a cubby… everything you need for a perfect cup of tea or espresso. The minibar was located below these shelves.
This espresso maker was addictive. We might have to buy one for our home.
The 31st-floor executive lounge was first-class in views and service. It has a dress code (no shorts) and children are not allowed, making it a popular place for business travelers.
We also enjoyed breakfast at Oscars restaurant on the first floor, as well as the hotel bar.
We stayed at the Conrad Centennial Singapore hotel using Hilton HHonors Award Points. The hotel is Category 7 requiring 30,000-60,000 points per night. A fifth night is free under the Compliments of Conrad offer.
This hotel offers an ideal location in Singapore, terrific service, and many special touches.
We will stay again whenever we are in Singapore.
