Where do you get the inspiration for your future travels? Hopefully, this blog is one of those places.

Travel magazines are likely another source of travel inspiration. In our mobile society, however, we may be more apt to search on-line.
Below I am sharing my eight favorite apps for travel inspiration. All of these apps are free – but you may have to buy or subscribe to the content within the app.
If you need a little more inspiration or guidance to help plan your next trip, take a look at these eight apps, available at the iTunes store (just click on the links to go directly to each app in iTunes).
1. The Travel & Leisure Magazine – Powered by Apazineâ„¢
This app is free to download but features paid content within the app. that is available for purchase. The current issue, back issues and future issues of Travel & Leisure magazine can be purchased within the app. ҬӬSubscriptions are also available within the application. When a recurring subscription is purchased the latest issue will become available to download immediately.
2. Tales & Tours – travel guides, routes and offline maps to explore your next (holiday) destination or weekend trip. – RP Landegent
This app allows users to download guided tours of all kinds through the use of audio, photos, videos, and maps. It provides some for free and some that are available to buy as well.
3. Lonely Planet Traveller – inspiring travel magazine with new exciting destinations – BBC Worldwide
This app is a magazine on-the-go that provides readers with images and articles of new and exciting ideas for traveling and places to go, even for the holidays! Get the latest recommendations in each issue when you subscribe.
4. Travel + Escape Magazine – GlassBOX Media Inc.
This app is also an on-the-go magazine that provides enriching insights into the world of travel through photos, videos, and articles. There is no need to subscribe since the magazine’s last issue came out in May 2014 which means you get all of the issues for free.
5. Travel TV – View your Destinations – Jonathan Hamon
This is a unique app that allows users to enter a travel destination and receive the best YouTube videos that provide all sorts of information about the location entered. It’s a great way to learn more about specific destinations when planning a vacation. The app also makes it easy to share videos through email, Twitter, and Facebook.
6. Elite Traveler – PageSuite Limited
Get the world’s most luxurious hotels, destinations, products, and services when you download this app. This magazine provides users with detailed information about all things of the “private jet” lifestyle. You can even download your favorite findings to save for future readings.
7. Holiday Travelling – MagzConnect
This magazine offers a number of different subscriptions to the best information on travel. Holiday deals, luxury escapes, and destinations around the world are just a few of the features that you will find in this app. Discover your next vacation location today!
8. A Family Vacation Travel and Holiday Magazine Where You Can Explore Ideas for the Best Resorts and Beaches Discovering New Adventures – Gary Griffiths
This app allows users to view links and websites from inside the app when wanting to read an article in the magazine. This is a great tool to use when wanting to plan a family vacation, thus the title of the magazine. It also offers tips and tricks to get the most out a vacation.
