Does it seem like you are paying more for domestic airfares in the U.S. lately? According to Skift, Americans Paid an Average $396 for Domestic Round-Trip Flight in 2014. This was the highest average fare since 1995. The fare data is adjusted for inflation, and reported by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation.
